Susan Johnston and Kurt Johnston are a husband-and-wife real estate team proudly serving York County and the surrounding Susquehanna Valley — including Lancaster, Adams, and Cumberland Counties. As licensed REALTORS® with Iron Valley Real Estate of York County, they bring a complementary set of skills that covers every side of the transaction: Susan leads buyer representation, and Kurt leads seller representation.

Both are native Pennsylvanians who have called York County home since 2003. Before entering real estate, each built a distinguished career in service. Susan retired after 25 years with the United States Air Force, then went on to serve an additional 12 years with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. That career instilled in her the discipline, attention to detail, and deep commitment to the people she serves — qualities she brings to every buyer client she works with. As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and At Home with Diversity (AHWD®) designee, Susan is specially trained to guide buyers through the home purchase process and to serve clients from all backgrounds with professionalism and cultural competency. Kurt spent 25 years in IT Project Management, retiring after 10 years with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His analytical background gives sellers a data-driven edge when it comes to pricing strategy, market analysis, and negotiating the best possible outcome.
